European manufacturer of the Pro Ski Simulator appoints exclusive North American wholesale distributor
Maribor, Slovenia-
The scenic, world-class ski destination which hosts the women’s slalom and giant slalom for the World Cup Races every January is also the home the European-based manufacturer of the Pro Ski Simulator. For those acquainted with the company, their entry into the North American market via the recent announcement to appoint an exclusive U.S. and Canadian wholesale distributor should come as no surprise. The Pro Ski Simulator, which has enjoyed broad commercial and popular success among European retailers, ski teams, health clubs, as well as physical therapy practices, announced that because of ongoing demand for their product in the North American market, it has appointed Skiform, LLC as the exclusive wholesale distributor to the U.S. and Canadian markets for the purpose of developing both retail relationships and a direct sales division. Skiform is a distributor which is located in the Columbus, Ohio, which was considered a logical choice on product expertise and “logistically ideal” for the sake of easily reaching both the Eastern and Western ski markets, as well as for proximity to Canadian distribution centers.
The Pro Ski Simulator is a resistance training device, which simulates the motions of ski turns and snowboarding turns. The success of the simulator has been largely due to its effectiveness in developing muscle memory, endurance and explosive energy among European ski racers that were seeking a training edge over the competition. However, as word leaked out to the non-racing ski population, the simulator found enthusiastic followers among recreational skiers and snowboarders. Ski schools found it particularly useful for developing the level of balance and coordination among the youngest students. Much of the surprising success was also among seniors, who found that the simulator use provided improvements in lateral strength, stability and core strength, which made it a favorite even among competitive golfers.
Fitness retailers, ski shops, health clubs and physical therapy practices that are interested in reselling, or purchasing the Pro Ski Simulator are encouraged to contact Skiform via their website (www.skiform.com). Most direct purchasing inquiries from individuals will be referred to the locally appointed reseller. However, individuals located in Canada or the U.S. where a reseller is unavailable will be able to purchase directly after receiving a user name and password to the “Buy Direct” link at Skiform.com via email inquiry.
Damjan Klampfer, President of the Euro-based Pro Ski Simulator commented, “We look forward to meeting the training and physical fitness needs of enthusiastic skiers, racers and snowboarders (and golfers) in our Canadian and U.S. marketplace through our partnership with Skiform, LLC. We are excited to see such a positive response already and look forward to our involvement in the North American ski and fitness scene!”
